TERMS & CONDITIONS

Registration Fee is £15 including FREE Tenterden Studio Theatre Company T-Shirt.

FEES

Fees will be invoiced termly and are to be paid in advance of each term.

If payment is not made by the due date on your invoice, your child will not be able to attend until payment is settled in full. 

10% discount applies to siblings.

ABSENCE

Refunds will not be given for absence during the term.

If for any reason we have to cancel classes, they will be rescheduled at the next convenient date. 

NOTICE

Half a terms notice is required to withdraw your child from the Theatre Company. 

If you do not give half a terms notice, you will be charged for 3 weeks of classes as a cancellation fee.

UNIFORM

Students are expected to wear the Tenterden Studio Theatre Company T-Shirt with plain black leggings or joggers and jazz shoes or clean trainers. 

No outdoor shoes are to be worn in the studio.

JEWELLERY

Long hair should be tied up and one small pair of studs in the ears is acceptable.

Additional piercings should be removed before class.

Jewellery including watches, bracelets, necklaces and rings must be removed before class.

BREAK TIME

We advise students to bring a bottle of water and a snack with them for their break time.

Mobile phones are to be switched off during class.

Students will be allowed to use their phones during break time.

RESPECT

Students are expected to conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, respecting their teachers and fellow students.

Parents are not permitted to watch classes, unless invited to do so by the Principal.

TEACHERS

All teachers are fully qualified, DBS checked.

Miss Hayley is First Aid trained.

PHOTOGRAPHY/FILM

Photography and Videography of students taken by Tenterden Studio Theatre Company may be used for publicity on social media.  

If you do not wish for your child's image to be used for these purposes you must inform the Principal in writing. 

LOST PROPERTY

We hold Public Liability Insurance.

We do not take responsibility for any loss or damage of personal property.


DATA PROTECTION

Tenterden Studio Theatre Company will not disclose your information to third parties, except where the law requires or you have given permission to do so.


Tenterden Studio Theatre Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.

CHILD PROTECTION POLICY

Tenterden Studio Theatre Company is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children and young people up to the age of 18.

We recognise our responsibility to take all reasonable steps to promote safe practice and to protect children from harm, abuse and exploitation.

We believe that no child should be the subject of neglectful or abusive behaviour.

We will promote and maintain the welfare of every child in our care and seek to protect them from harm regardless of race, age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief or any other form of identity or creed.

We will create a safe and welcoming environment for all.

To protect children and young people in our care we will:

  • Value and respect children and listen to what they have to say.

  • Work with children, parents and relevant organisations.

  • Share our policy with all staff, parents and students.

  • Ensure all teachers hold a current DBS check.

  • Provide appropriate training and support to all staff.

  • Take responsibility for children and young people's safety when in our care.

  • Seek permission from parents before taking images of students and inform them how and where these images will be used.

  • Report suspected neglect or abuse to the relevant organisation or police.
